About Sarah

Sarah herself is a former existentialist, ex-hippie rainbow child living on a community farm in Athens County, OH with her lovely children and friends and assorted beasts.

She teaches preschool part-time and also teaches storytelling in the local schools. She is a songwriter and storyteller with a unique sense of humor, who basically feels that if you're not having fun you must be doing it wrong.

She was a finalist at the '00 & '02 Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition, where she confirmed, once again, that Texas is what the Texans deserve (both of her parents now live there).
